  • Secant Formula - What is Secant Formula?, Examples - Cuemath
When the length of the hypotenuse is divided by the length of the adjacent side, it gives the secant of the angle, of the right-angled triangle Secant is denoted as 'sec'
  • Secant function (sec) - Trigonometry - Math Open Reference
In a right triangle, the secant of an angle is the length of the hypotenuse divided by the length of the adjacent side In a formula, it is abbreviated to just 'sec'
  • Trigonometric Identities - Math is Fun
You might like to read about Trigonometry first! The Trigonometric Identities are equations that are true for right triangles
  • Secant and Cosecant - Algebrica
The secant and cosecant of an angle θ are defined as the reciprocals of cos (θ) and sin (θ), extending trigonometric relationships
  • Secant - sin-cos. pro
The range of secant values is the entire numerical axis, with the exception of the interval from -1 to 1 The secant simply cannot become less than 1 in absolute value, since it is inversely proportional to the cosine, which cannot be greater than 1 in absolute value
