I actually ditched Nerd Fonts for JuliaMono, because the number of glyphs in it trumps any other font that I know of at least 5 times over
  • What is your favorite programming font? : r vscode - Reddit
the acceptable fonts for me are JetBrains Mono, Fira Code, Cascadia Code, Cousine, Hack, Inconsolata, Source Code Pro, Ubuntu Mono, Meslo, and Iosevka, but specifically the nerd font versions to ensure any weird or special symbols are compatible, which is a must for posh prompt in my terminal or lualine in neovim
  • Regurding JetBrainsMono Nerd Font Update : r neovim - Reddit
I also experienced this when I upgraded nerd-fonts to v3 1 0 from v3 0 Probably it has changed since v3 1 (but the release note didn't seem to mention this change)

I don't like their oblique italic fonts I only like the standard normal font, because the characters are thin, and of similar height, so it makes code like Vec3, int32_t look good In other fonts, the characters have different heights which makes me feel icky
  • Which fonts you using for terminal? in 2023 : r archlinux - Reddit
Yeah me too! Hack Nerd Font to be precise I like how it has very little visual noise in the characters Reply reply [deleted] •
  • Which fonts do you guys actually install? : r archlinux - Reddit
I usually do as I go and install missing fonts if I encounter something not rendering The last one e g was for japanese Katakana for the shrug emoji That got me thinking though, since fonts are so small and don't influence the system in any other way, why not install something like all-repository-fonts from the AUR and be done with it? What are you guys doing with fonts? Which fonts do you
  • GitHub Next: Monaspace Font Family : r programming - Reddit
Just one of the reasons I love WezTerm is that it has nerd fonts built it So that means that you can use try a new font and if your tmux vim whatever tries to render a nerd glyph and it isn't in your primary font it will fallback to the built in nerd one The effect is that you essentially get nerd font for free without patching
  • [help] Setting JetBrains Mono Nerd Font on vs code. : r vscode
I didn't grabbed all of them, just grabbed Hack Nerd Font and this one, it's curious how alacritty does changes it correctly but vs code no even if I'm referring to the same font it works with Hack Nerd Font (on both programs) but JetBrains font only works on alacritty Might just reinstall to see if something changes
  • I have nerdfonts installed but still some Icons glyphs are . . . - Reddit
