流行性感冒（简称流感）是流感病毒引起的急性呼吸道感染，是一种传染性强、传播速度快的疾病。其主要通过空气中的飞沫、人与人之间的接触或与被污染物品的接触传播。潜伏期一般为1～7天，多数为2～4天。风寒感冒是风寒之邪外袭、肺气失宣所致，其起因通常因劳累，再加上吹风或受凉。风寒感冒通常秋冬发生比较多。风热感冒是风热之邪犯表、肺气失和所致。风热感冒多见于夏秋季，外感风热所致。中医认为，风热感冒是感受风热之邪所致的表征。风寒感冒忌用桑菊感冒片、银翘解毒片、羚翘解毒片、复方感冒片等药物。饮食清淡、不吃辛辣刺激性食物；从事驾驶、高空作业、机械作业、精密仪器作业等作业时，切忌服用含抗过敏类成分的复方制剂（如含马来酸氯苯那敏）；感冒期间不要服用滋补类中药。
